The chairman for Ambassadors for Christ Council, Pastor Ameyaw Mark, is urging the government to suspend the rolling out of new infrastructural projects and focus on completing existing uncompleted ones.
Speaking in an interview with Appiah Kubi on Tain FM Anopa Nkommo, he said that upon observations, there are many uncompleted projects across the country which when finished, would aid in development.
“You don’t go building a new project when you have seen some has been abandoned. I think that is what the government should do, suspend new projects, spend the resources, and finish the ongoing and existing projects, and note that government is a continuous process”, he stated.
The man of God stated that government can begin construction of new infrastructures after completing the abandoned ones.
He expressed his worry that the situation of NPP-NDC is resulting in waste of national resources which even retards development.
“In everything, you prioritise, depending on how things are and I think that the plight of the people in the country deserves some attention if the funds are available to continue the uncompleted projects because we pay taxes”, he added.
He concluded on pleading the government not to have fallen on deaf ears.
