Stop Discussing The Anti-LGBTQ+ Bill. It Will Not Solve Ghana’s Problem – Omanhene To Parliament

The National President of New Patriotic Party Youth Organization(NPPYO) who doubles as Controversial NPP Activist and Former Acting President of SADA Ghana, Omanhene Nana Kofi Amankwaa has descended heavily on Ghana Parliament saying, “Anti -LGBT proposal bill will not overcome the problem, so they should stop discussing in Parliament.”

Speaking in an interview with Nana Obour,  he stated clearly that Ghana’s Parliament(NDC) has decided to propose this bill so that people of the same sex who engage in sexual activity could be jailed for between three to five years although they don’t know that lesbian, gay originated from prisons and schools.

“We are promoting LGBTQ in Ghana if it would be punishable by fives years in prison for any person to identify as lesbian, gay, transgender.”

Adding to it, Omanhene stated emphatically that the Genesis of gay, lesbianism started from prisons so why are we sending them to prisons as s result of punishment whilst all these acts generated from prisons and schools” he quizzed.

He cautiously urged Parliament especially NDC MPs to be extra vigilant over this deal and organize public education for the Same-Sex people over the risks of these acts.
