Former Deputy Bono Regional Minister and former MP for Jaman North Hon. Stevens Siaka has appealed to the Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon. Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin to use his rich and vast experience as a former member of Parliament of 28 years to advance Parliamentary democracy in the country.
Speaking to Peace News, Hon Stevens Siaka urged the Speaker to refrain from making statements that could divide the country negatively affect the image of Parliament because the country needs to be united in order to make progress.

He said some comments by Speaker Rt Hon Bagbin Alban that he is the Number Three in the country is already known to the public hence the Speaker should refrain from repeating such comment as it creates the impression that the Speaker is bragging over his current position as Speaker of Parliament.
