EL: A tall career looking short!

The Ghanaian music industry is one that has been blessed with an abundance of talented individuals over the years, individuals who made us dance and listen as well as think!

One of such individuals is Elom Adablah popularly known as E.L

The tall rapper/singer who dominates every artistic sphere one could possibly look at in an artist minus dancing of course has been off the scene for sometime now and we’re just beginning to contemplate  ‘e be long pause or he wan stop’.

Elorm who was born on June 28th,1987 had his upbringing in Dansoman, a suburb in Accra where he had his basic education before gaining admission to Presbyterian Boys Secondary School (PRESEC), one of Ghana’s finest school by the way and shout-out to the )dade3 boys as they’re famously identified.

After Presec, he again gained admission into University of Ghana,Legon where he pursued a degree in economics and political science.

Known for his countless hit songs such as ‘kaalu, Efa wo ho Ben, Joy, Mi Naa  Bo Po’ and so many more and oh ‘Kaa bu Ame’ which happens to be a personal favorite as well. After taking home a total of Five(5) awards during the 2016 edition of Ghana Music Awards, many saw in E.L a guy who would break the dominance of the powerful ‘S’ trident i.e Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

However, since leaving record label BBnZ Live, his career hasn’t looked as warm as we had anticipated and although he has since released some decent projects, the energy is just no more contagious and his incredible delivery on the mic and dilapidation of whatever beat he is given is something music nerds as myself savour and boy oh boy, we can not wait to see E.L get in the groove and shake things up as he does!
